Trump’s got us all running scared

Uncategorized
The call it "Wag the dog" when a politician creates a deflection from them to save themselves. In our present situation, President Donald Trump has put us at the brink of World War III with Iran and Iraq just when his impeachment was back on track. He couldn't have started a fight with anyone worse than these guys - oh wait, there's that Korean guy. Now, he's got everyone - including me - scared. It's got our mind off impeachment because now there is a worse enemy than Trump. One that will blow us away or nuke us - if they can. It's got people like me more concerned about Iran and Iraq than Trump's impeachment. So, did it work? So far it has, if someone is taking a poll.…

October Surprise

Politics
It's a Friday, a traditional slow news day when reporters are off doing something else, and the FBI announced some explosive news: that they will reopen the investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails. It's kinda obvious whose side the FBI is on, but this is damaging to Hillary. Just two days ago she started slipping in the polls. She was ahead in 8 out of 10 national polls, then today that shrunk to 6 out of 10. By Sunday, my guess is that Donald Trump will be ahead in at least 4 or six of the national polls - maybe more. Then the next week the news angle will be: Trump might win/Trump is going to win. Hillary's response to the situation in North Dakota was not great either. Most Natives…

Election just weeks away

Politics
What a mess and an embarrassment this election has become. After this is all done, I think in the next election, anything is possible. Trump may bail out. He's under attack for alleged sexual assaults against women. I think this will bring him down and right now he is in a world of hurt. But nothing fazes this man. Nothing. He's also under attack for some kind of strange relationship with Russia's Putin. If we end up going to war Trump will be even more despised than ever. I still think there is a chance, say 35% chance he will…

Clinton’s proposed media strategy against Trump:

Government, Politics
The New York Times in a story “Inside the Clinton Team’s Plan to Defeat Donald Trump” (Feb. 29, 2016) said that Hillary Clinton’s campaign is preparing for a battle with most likely Republican-nominee Donald Trump for the upcoming presidential election. In a behind the scenes story, the reporters revealed media strategies that would bring down Trump. Among many strategies now being scripted and tested by the Clinton team, they are planning to “…portray Mr. Trump as a misogynist and an enemy of the working class.” They believe this message, among other messages would make him unacceptable to many Americans. But there is also some concern that “the message may not break through.” On Super Tuesday, polling data showed that a huge majority of voters favored Trump because of anger and…
